RAC Foundation – Road charging is inevitable

Tue, 06 Jul 2010

The RAC Foundation calls for Road Charging. According to RAC Foundation Director Stephen Glaister, a predicted 33% increase in traffic by 2025 and a reduction in road building schemes and cuts in general make a  pay as you go system the answer to congested roads. Tushek Renovatio T500 Supercar UK debut at Salon Prive

Thu, 16 Aug 2012

The Tushek Renovatio T500 – a supercar from a shed in Slovenia – is to get its UK debut at next month’s Salon Prive. Eastern Europe is starting to produce its own shed supercars, the latest of which is the Tushek Renovatio T500, a decent looking offering from Slovenia. Based on the K1 Attack kit car, the Renovatio T500 is the brainchild of former racing driver Aljosa Tušek with his Tushek Supercars company planning on a very limited run of just 30 Renovatio T500s over the next four years.

Jaguar XF Diesel S (2010) Review & Road Test part 2

Jaguar XF Diesel S Review – a really very nice interior What you get with the XF Diesel S is a car that is so close to the XFR in the way it handles and performs it’s hard to believe you’re ploughing along in a 3.0 litre diesel. The wall of torque the Diesel S produces certainly helps – it’s within a whisker of the torque the 5.0 litre XFR delivers – and for much of the time the XF Diesel S manages to do a very credible impersonation of its petrol-engined sibling. True, you don’t get all the XFR’s goodies bolted to the XF Diesel S even after you’ve dished up £3k+ to grab the two sporty packages.
