Nissan to open new Global Headquarters Gallery

Nissan, which opened its new global headquarters in Yokohama, Japan, last weekend (coinciding with the unveiling of the automaker's new electrically-propelled Leaf), will open a new gallery dedicated to its products on August 8th. Just as German automakers BMW and Porsche have shrines dedicated to their respective brands, Nissan's new gallery will feature exhibits of its current products, classic models and cars from its racing heritage. The new gallery - which boasts an area four times larger than the previous Nissan gallery in the company's former headquarters in Higashi Ginza - occupies 4000m2 of space on the first floor of the new building.

Range Rover Evoque - Streets of London Video Back in August, after Land Rover had unveiled the Range Rover Evoque at KP but before we got the mountains of bumph from LR giving us the inside leg measurments of the Evoque, we had a nudge from LR towards some ‘Spy’ shots of the Evoque out filming in London. As we suspected at the time, that was just LR PR doing their job. But as our beady little eyes spotted different back ends on the Evoques in the ‘Spy’ shots we thought it worth the story.

Umea Institute of Design prepares for annual Degree Exhibition

The Institute of Design is housed in a converted power station and purpose-built premises on the banks of the Umea River. The school has an atmosphere that is open and light, and all students have their own personal workspace within this environment. There are well-equipped workshops for woodwork, metal, plastic, clay modelling, assembly and painting.
