With 625bhp on tap and a kerb weight of around 1200kg, the new supercar is claimed to despatch the 0-60mph in 2.8sec – just 0.3sec slower than a Veyron. Just 50 A10s will be built in Ascari's Banbury plant, with only ten going to UK homes.

Ford moves upmarket with new Mustang, Edge and Vignale sub-brands

Ford is about to introduce models popular in the US over here to stretch its product line-up above the £30,000 threshold. At last week's Geneva Motor Show, the company showed the new Mustang sports car as well as the new Edge crossover (above).
