This is an NOS 6V volt, 40 amp. voltage regulator which was used on Fords, Thunderbirds, Lincolns and Mercurys from 1949-1955.  The regulator is complete with the screws for securing the wires to the three posts and a copy of the installation instructions.  This regulator has never been installed and has the original factory cadmium plating on the base.  This regulator was made in the USA.  Perfect for replacing a missing, damaged or non working 6V voltage regulator. The Bentley Hybrid Concept (pictured) will debut in Beijing There’s been lots of talk of a Bentley Hybrid for a number of years now, and in 2011 Wolfgang Dürheimer confirmed that hybrid was in Bentley’s plans and that it would be a plug-in. Fast forward three years and we get the Bentley Hybrid Concept, Bentley’s first crack at a plug-in hybrid powertrain all wrapped up in the Mulsanne. But it won’t be the Mulsanne that sees a production version of the hybrid powertrain but, as expected, the new Bentley SUV.

Honda SUVs recalled for fuel-tank fix

Honda Motor Co. is recalling about 8,700 copies of the 2012 Honda Pilot and Acura MDX SUVs to fix a problem in the fuel tank. The flaw is with the vent-shut-float valve case in the fuel-tank assembly.

Shown off at Silverstone this weekend the hybrid 908 features a similar kinetic energy recovery setup to next year’s Formula 1 system. The 908’s ‘HY’ undertook a number of demonstration laps in front of the packed grandstands and showed how Peugeot’s passenger car technology is filtering through to its motorsport activities.
