Oil filter canister that came off a 1953 Chevrolet six cylinder engine. Should work on a lot of different years through the 1950's, comes with both U-bolts. One of these was broke before I took it off, was working that way on the car. Take a look at the pictures.  It had a AC P-115 cartridge in it. Has surface rust and will need a good cleaning. Inside still had oil in it. Probably has some small dents and scratches as these are old and used parts.

Opel product chief Weber quits to take job with yet-unnamed rival

Frank Weber, the German-born engineer who helped lead development of the Chevrolet Volt and Opel Ampera hybrids, is leaving General Motors' Opel unit to work for an as-yet unnamed competitor. Weber has been Opel's product chief since November 2009. His departure was reported Thursday by Automotive News Europe and confirmed by company sources.
