This is a very nice brand new well-detailed black 1966 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 die-cast collectible. It was made in 1:64 scale in the premium adult Car and Driver series by the AutoWorld Company and is nicely detailed including proper trim, authentic factory-correct Super-Stock wheels/redline tires, a functional hood that opens to reveal the 400 Rocket V8 and a very well-done interior. Also includes a collectible display box. The vehicle pictured is in my own collection--the identical one you receive will be shipped to you in its factory ORIGINAL unopened package. Virtual Prototyping is one of the most important steps in the development of a new car allowing the evaluation of a prototype in different aspects before it's even built. Autodesk's new VRED product line can be used throughout the whole design and construction process on a single data basis, without the need to re-do work.
Video: Ferrari F70 caught drifting at Fiorano
Wed, 06 Feb 20130-60 tipped us off to this short video of Ferrari's forthcoming Enzo successor drifting its way around Ferrari's Fiorano test track. The F70's V12 can be heard, though there's no evidence of the rumored KERS-like hybrid system. Ferrari tells us to expect a sub-2,500-pound curb weight, and we're also hearing the 920-hp figure bandied about.
