Colors and Pictures: Due to the reproduction process and the difference in monitor calibration, exact colors are difficult to show. These samples, pictures and colors are close to the actual color, but might differ slightly for your monitor.

EDP Coating:

“EDP” or Electrophoretically Deposited Paint is a coating that is applied to bare metal panels to protect them from corrosion and rust.

Most reproduction items are coming from overseas on cargo vessels which are subject to moisture and salty conditions. These metal panels are sprayed with an EDP coating to protect them from the long term effects of shipping and storage of these parts.

Due to the nature of sheet metal, Minor dents, Scratches, Scuffs, and or Other Minor Imperfections in the “EDP” coating are considered normal attributes and are NOT to be considered as Defective or Damaged.

These minor imperfections are corrected during the priming, sanding, and filling process of the sheet metal. This is the normal process & expectations professional auto body shops are accustom to while performing the preparation and installation of these parts.

All sheet metal of this nature is to be scuffed and or stripped of any coating including “EDP” prior to welding, panel work, fillers, primer, and paint.

Professional Installation and/or advice is highly recommended when dealing with the installation of sheet metal!

Councils say they don’t have the money to deal with the problem due to budget cuts and there has also been an 18% increase in the number of dangerous potholes reported during the past 12 months according to the Asphalt Industry Alliance (AIA).

Nissan Micra (2010) at the Geneva motor show

Tue, 02 Mar 2010

This is the new Nissan Micra, revealed today at the 2010 Geneva motor show by company chief exec Carlos Ghosn. Blame the need to appeal to buyers in over 160 countries, and Nissan’s desire to keep its cost down – fancy steel pressings cost cash. The new Micra will be built in at least four factories across the globe; Nissan’s Sunderland plant will build the new Juke and Europe’s supply of the Micra will come from a factory in India.
