This is an NOS RH (passenger side) front fender inner lower shield, Ford part # D77Z 16102-A. This shield bolts to the inner lower fender and inner front radiator core support on Ford Couriers and Mazda B2000 Sundowners from 1977 thru 1980 (and likely fit additional years of these vehicles which you would need to determine). This assembly line installed steel splash shield is essential for protecting the frame and lower inner fender from debris when driving. The large round hole is for accessing the rear front bumper bracket bolt. This splash shield was made in Japan and has been obsolete from both Ford and Mazda for many years. The shield measures approx. 8" x 8" and has never been installed. The last two pictures show this shield installed on the driver's side of a 1980 Mazda B2000 Sundowner. Perfect for replacing missing, rusted or damaged RH splash shield with a factory original. See my eBay Store for more Ford Courier and Mazda B2000 pickup parts including the pair of NOS inner front fender splash shields. Payment is expected within 10 days of the close of the auction. We charge actual shipping only and are always glad to combine shipping on several auctions or you would be welcome to pick them up at our shop. Thanks!

The sculpture was then painted black and was left on display in Exner's Office. There it caught the eye of Luigi Segre, director of Ghia who expressed his intentions to create a car inspired by the forms of the model.

Lotus Evora Freddie Mercury Edition. Yes, really

Fri, 02 Sep 2011

Lotus Evora Freddie Mercury Edition We really weren’t too sure when we got a press release drop in that said “Another Lotus Bites The Dust…” and then went on to say that Lotus are building a one-off Lotus Evora S Freddie Mercury Edition to be auctioned for the Mercury Phoenix Trust. We thought it was a spoof. We decided it was almost certainly a spoof when the press release went on to say that the Freddie Mercury Edition Evora “…represents a kind of magic” and that the white, red and gold colour scheme was “…inspired by the iconic costume Freddie wore for the 1986 Magic tour”.

This brightly coloured beast is BMW’s latest Art Car, and the company's entry into this year’s Le Mans 24hrs. Based on the M3 GT2, the 17th Art Car has been designed by Jeff Koons and was unveiled last night at the Centre Pompidou in Paris. BMW might not need such help – the M3 GT2 has already picked up a first place at this year’s Nurburgring 24hrs.
