1972 Mg Mgb Air Conditioning Unit on 2040-parts.com
Fairland, Indiana, United States
I REMOVED THIS FROM A PARTS CAR SO ITS UNTESTED BUT ALL THE IMPORTANT STUFF IS THERE THE CONDENSER IS MISSING BUT YOU CAN USE ONE FROM ANY SMALL CAR.
THE IMPORTANT THING IS THE EVAPORATOR UNIT WHICH MOUNTS NEATLY UNDER THE DASH AND THE TWO VENTS WHICH ARE MOLDED TO FIT THE BOTTOM OF THE DASH TO GIVE THE UNIT A FACTORY LOOK.. THE COMPRESSOR IS THERE AND IT TURNS FREELY WITH COMPRESSION. I TOOK IT OUT OF A 1972 MGB BUT IM GUESSING IT CAN BE MADE TO FIT ANY OF THEM. I HAVE A COUPLE OF THE BRACKETS BUT YOU'LL PROBABLY HAVE TO FAB SOME, NO BIG DEAL. SHIPPING WILL BE WHAT EVER SHIPPING IS, IM NOT IN THE BUSINESS OF SCREWING PEOPLE OVER ON SHIPPING. ITS PROBABLY GOING TO WEIGH AROUND 25 TO 30 LBS SO YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO ESTIMATE IT. |

Smart forstars concept
Fri, 14 Sep 2012The Smart forstars concept is set to be unveiled the week after next at the Paris motor show. Clearly related to the For-Us concept seen at NAIAS in Detroit earlier this year, the grammatically-challenged Sports Utility Coupé concept, measures in at 3,550mm long, 1,710mm wide and 1,505mm high. It shares the same ‘smiley' front face as the For-Us, complete with rhombic front lamps which stand proud of the surface and a pixellated grille opening.
The Toyota FT-1 concept would make a damn fine new Supra
Mon, 13 Jan 2014The Detroit auto show is just getting started, and Toyota has kicked things off with a nice surprise: The racy FT-1 concept. A product of Toyota's Calty Design Research facility, the FT-1 concept shares some of the swoops and vents with the Lexus RC F. But there's a boatload of high-performance styling cues there, too: Take a quick glance and you might spot the front end of a Ferrari Enzo, the profile of the Nissan GT-R, the double-bubble roof of the SRT Viper/any number of Zagato creations and the oversized retractable rear wing of the McLaren P1.
