Chevrolet at Geneva
Mon, 10 Mar 2008By Guy Bird Motor Shows 10 March 2008 11:31 What’s new on Chevrolet’s Geneva Motor Show stand? There were more exciting show stands at Geneva but Chevy did muster up a small – in every sense – global unveil in the shape of the three-door Aveo supermini (the five-door was unveiled last autumn at the 2007 Frankfurt show). Driven: BMW 335i Cabriolet
Wed, 24 Oct 2007The 3 series has come a long way. While the original 1975 E21 was initially only available as a two-door sedan, it was soon transformed into a cabriolet thanks to an aftermarket conversion kit by Baur. In 1982, the E30 was a two or four-door sedan until several years later, when BMW offered the "Touring" wagon and the full factory-produced cabriolet.
Amazing garage-find Jaguars to be auctioned
Fri, 18 Oct 2013TWO REMARKABLE Jaguars that were found abandoned in separate garages are to be sold at auction. A 1961 E-Type, one of the earliest ever made and confirmed as chassis number 40, was discovered just a few weeks ago in a garage near Le Mans by Coys auction house, which will also complete the sale. The car hasn’t moved since it was left in the garage in 1974, although Coys claims the engine was last started five years ago and it still turns over freely.
