1986 Yamaha XVZ13D Venture Royale 1300cc V-four full dress touring motorcycle. It has 22,114 original miles. I am the second owner; my father bought it new in 1986. It has an on-board air compressor to adjust the suspension, AM/FM/Cassette deck, CB radio, electronic cruise control, optional luggage rack on the tour pack/trunk, and all three original storage pouches. It has the soft saddlebags to pack and drop into the hard bags. Also has the panel to put in place when the sound system is removed. Owners manual, original tool kit, and Yamaha locking chain comes with it. I also have the shop manual and parts catalog on a disc, and am including a very nice tank bag, and a cover. Runs good, has good tires, but has some minor issues. The intercom system never worked properly, there is a weeping seal at the lower end of the hydraulic clutch line, the rear/linked brake is difficult to keep air out and requires bleeding, and there are some cracks in the fairing above where the upper meets the lower. The wheel control for the "heat" louvers on one side fell out (lets engine heat out from the back cylinders to warm the rider's legs), and the top portion of the antenna is missing. A very nice comfortable ride that needs some TLC. It has very low mileage, important with regard to the engine and drive train and has been garage kept or covered. I also have lots of accessories, such as jackets, helmets, boots, gloves and raingear. I am reluctant to part with it, but I just haven't ridden it much, and it's taking up space. I'm asking $2300.00 or best offer. A nice turn-key touring ride at a reasonable price. Local pick up only. This listing may end without notice, as it is advertised in other media.

House narrowly passes scaled-back 'cash-for-clunkers' bill

Wed, 17 Jun 2009

The U.S. House on Tuesday narrowly passed a scaled-back version of a bill that would give consumers cash vouchers of between $3,500 and $4,500 if they trade in their cars for newer, more fuel-efficient vehicles. The $1 billion cash-for-guzzlers proposal, modeled after successful programs in Germany and other European countries, is part of a $106 billion supplemental spending measure designed mostly to fund the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Subaru Levorg concept stars at the Tokyo Motor Show 2013

Wed, 20 Nov 2013

The Subaru Levorg, eh? This is a ‘concept’ version for a next generation Subaru estate, and though it’s not being explicitly underlined here at Tokyo 2013, we understand the name is an amalgamation of Legacy, Revolution and Touring. While revolutionary wouldn’t exactly be out first choice description, the Levorg does feature a new 170hp 1.6-litre DIT turbo engine, and the latest Subaru EyeSight safety technology.
