Range Rover Evoque by Project Kahn Arrives – minus Cosworth tweaks
Tue, 03 Jan 2012Range Rover Evoque by Project Kahn Project Kahn has revealed their take on the Range Rover Evoque, with a cosmetic treatment but no Cosworth power boost. Over a year ago – before the Range Rover Evoque started to hit the roads – Bradford car customiser Project Kahn revealed their take on the Evoque complete with unspecified Cosworth power upgrades. Mazda Hazumi concept (2014) first official pictures
Tue, 04 Mar 2014By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 04 March 2014 06:00 This is the new Mazda 2 supermini, unveiled this morning at the 2014 Geneva motor show. Okay, okay, technically it’s the Mazda Hazumi concept, but the Japanese company itself openly admits this dinky little hatchback previews ‘ideas for its next-generation B-car’. Incidentally, Hazumi (no, not the cheese, but Hazumi) is apparently a Japanese word meaning ‘bound’ or ‘spring up’ so Mazda’s picked the name ‘to convey an image of a small but vigorous animal, bursting with energy.’ That’s right, and Mazda is using it to highlight its ‘Kodo’ design language, its SkyActiv fuel-saving technologies, and its MZD Connect infotainment system.
Vauxhall Ampera Price revealed
Tue, 14 Dec 2010The Vauxhall Ampera costs £28,995 - even after the taxpayer chips in £5k Sensibly, Vauxhall has chosen to reveal the price of the range-extender Vauxhall Ampera on the day it was included on the list of cars eligible for the £5,000 taxpayer subsidy for plug-in cars. Vauxhall will be getting £33,995 for every Ampera they shift, although the buyer will pay £28,995 thanks to the taxpayer subsidy. Which, whether you pick the subsidised price or the actual price, is an awful lot of money.
