Cadillac teases 2013 'glamour' concept car

Looking to recapture some of its past luster, Cadillac showed renderings of a concept car that will appear at a 2013 auto show. Shelby GT500 durability car to be auctioned off at Barrett-Jackson

Carroll Shelby will have his name all over the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Arizona this weekend. In addition to the anniversary edition Shelby Cobra being displayed for the first time, a 2013 Ford Shelby GT500 durability car will be auctioned. The sale will raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Perhaps this was inevitable, since Aston’s new non-executive chairman is David Richards - the chairman of Prodrive, which develops the DBR9 and its FIA GT3-spec sister car, the DBRS9. The team will face a tough challenge, though, as the 24-hour Le Mans is the only race that Aston Martin Racing will compete in this year.
