Used Upper Inner Tailgate Trim Moulding  , Removed from a 1963 Pontiac Safari 9 Passenger Station Wagon I am currently Parting Out. (Sorry, 3rd seat is NOT available) Also correct for 1963 and 1964 Chevrolet Impala and Bel Air station wagon, and 63-64 Pontiac Safari Laurention Parisienne Bonneville Catalina station wagons, and possibly all Fullsize GM station wagons from 1961 to 1964, however I am unsure, so please research your application before bidding/buying. This Trim Piece is located inside the tailgate, on the very top edge, between the latch and the glass, and runs the width of the tailgate. (It is  circled in yellow in the first 5 pictures). It is in overall Good condition, but has scratches/dings/wear/minor surface rust associated with typical age and use.. I am parting out the complete car (sorry, 3rd seat is NOT available) as well as several other 58-64 Chev and Pontiac Vehicles, any parts requested will be listed here on ebay as per ebay rules Please check my other auctions for more Great Vintage Parts. The world marks the 125th anniversary of the invention of the automobile on Jan. 29. Karl Benz filed a patent for a three-wheeled vehicle driven by a gasoline engine in Mannheim, Germany, on that day in 1886, the same year Gottlieb Daimler completed his motorized carriage in Cannstatt, Germany.

Opel to show range-extending hybrid at Geneva motor show

Opel, General Motors' European unit, will unveil its vehicle that uses the range-extending powertrain first shown in the Chevrolet Volt, at the Geneva motor show in March. On Monday, Opel said that the car will be named Ampera. The Ampera will have four seats and five doors.

Lexus wants more hybrids and a better performance image

Lexus plans to introduce hybrid versions of existing vehicles with each full model change, the brand's r&d chief says. Leveraging the electric-gasoline drivetrain technology of Lexus' parent company, Toyota, will be key to differentiating the brand from European rivals, said Kiyotaka Ise, Toyota Motor Corp. managing officer in charge of Lexus development.
