Plug N Play Remote Start System

No special connectors.  No spending hours trying to figure out a wiring diagram.   This remote start system was designed to make the installation and programming process as easy, and as fast as possible.  This application take our installers 20 minutes to install!  It typically takes our customers around 1 hour to do the install themselves.  Its a very easy, and straight forward process.

*** This Kit comes with a T-harness and 2 wire pigtails.  One of the wires is for parking lights which is not needed for remote start operation.  This wire is used when you would like visual confirmation when the vehicle is running.   The other wire IS NEEDED for the remote start to function.  If this wire is not hooked up, the unit will not work.  The connection is made at the steering column (the parking light wire is also located at the steering column so you can hook both us at the same time if you want the lights to illuminate while the vehicle is running).  Remove 2 phillips screws and the bottom steering shroud pops off.  Its not difficult.

Installation & Programming Instructions will be INCLUDED which have Pictures of the steering column connection to make it SUPER EASY for you!   THIS IS A DUMMY PROOF KIT!!!

 - No takeover feature is available. The vehicle will shut down as soon as a door is opened

- To remote start the engine, the hood, hatch, and all doors must be closed

-0 - If the vehicle is equipped with Enform, the remote start feature needs to be enabled by a dealer scan tool before this kit will work

Operation Of Remote Start:

·         On the Factory Key FOB, press the lock button 3 times

·         3 more presses on the Key FOB will turn the Remote Start off

·         Parking Lights will illuminate when remote start is active

The car-commercial players for Super Bowl XLV

Thu, 03 Feb 2011

WITH VIDEOS -- Cash-strapped auto companies stood on the sidelines of the Super Bowl for a year or two, but they're about to make up for it in a hurry. By some estimates, the auto industry will buy the most time of any advertising category for the Feb. 6 game.

Mercedes supercars

Tue, 29 Jul 2008

By Tim Pollard 29 July 2008 09:00 The SLR is the fruit of a strange motor industry marriage. Collaborating as they do in motorsport, Woking and Stuttgart decided to build a road car that showcased their full-bodied technical know-how. Perhaps the mixed messages from F1-centric McLaren and luxury brand Merc, or the untold pressure of the seminal F1, were too much, for the SLR has failed to worm its way into our affections.

Transportation Department clinics to test connected-vehicle communication

Fri, 13 May 2011

Usually communication between cars on the road consists of expletive-ridden road rage or “hey, your headlight’s out!” Thanks to new technology, the exchange of information could soon be far more productive. The U.S. Department of Transportation has announced that it will be holding Driver Acceptance Clinics in six cities across the country to assess how well drivers respond to vehicle-to-vehicle communication technology.
