These are an EXACT replica made by Nostalgic Reflections of Veradale, Washington who makes custom "one off" parts for their customers who own and restore antique vehicles. These parts have been acid etched in brass, dome stamped, color enamel back filled and chrome platted. The mounting holes have been put in the right place and these parts fit perfectly! Ford and GM reliability ratings dip in Consumer Reports survey
Tue, 25 Oct 2011Consumers rated Ford's new Explorer, Fiesta and Focus models at less-than-average reliability during their first year, according to Consumer Reports' annual auto survey. Poor reception of the new models bumped Ford's overall reliability rank from the 10th spot in 2010 to the 20th this year among the 28 major nameplates included in the survey. Findings are based on responses from 1.3 million vehicle owners or lessees who subscribe to the magazine.
End of an era for Dream Cruise landmark

The Vinsetta Garage, an art deco repair shop that dates to 1919 and sits just feet from Woodward Avenue, was shuttered last week as the owner prepares for a new direction in life. Jack Marwil, who owned the shop since 1989, plans to attend law school after the death of his wife this fall.
Mini launches 'Inspired by Goodwood'

Unveiled at Pavillon 21 Mini Opera Space, a temporary mobile performance venue located on the Marstallplatz in Munich, the new trim level was developed by designers working in both the Mini and Rolls-Royce design studios. Finished in a cornsilk beige hue (a color typical of Roll-Royce interiors), the Mini Inspired by Goodwood's cabin exudes an air of sophistication found on premium, luxury products – right down to the lamb's wool carpeting.
