YOU ARE LOOKING AT A PAIR OF CARBURETOR INTAKE FILTERS FOR A 4-BARREL INTAKE. THIS WILL FIT HOLLY, CARTER AND MOST CARBURETORS WITH A 5" THROAT. THE ACTUAL FILTERS ARE K&N FILTERS. THE FILTERS ARE USED BUT THEY ARE WASHABLE AND REUSABLE. THESE FILTERS ARE 3 1/2 HIGH BUT MANY FILTER SIZES ARE AVAILABLE. THE BASE AND CAP ARE CHROME AND ARE IN GOOD SHAPE. I TOOK THEM OFF MY STREET ROD AND PUT A SINGLE 4-BARREL CARB SETUP ON THERE. THE BASE AND CAP ARE 9 INCHES IN DIAMETER. NHTSA investigates fuel-tank problem with 2004 Chevrolet Corvettes
Tue, 18 May 2010The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has opened an investigation into a potentially leaky fuel-tank problem with the 2004 Chevrolet Corvette. The investigation was launched on May 12 and covers an estimated 33,000 Corvettes. There have been 30 reports from consumers alleging either leaking liquid or fuel vapor coming from a tank, NHTSA said.
