This remote is for several Alpine navigation systems. This was very lightly used. Has a flip up top with a numerical keypad. This remote worked the last time it was used several years ago (I no longer have the navigations system, so I cannot be a re-test it now). The red light does show it operates when buttons are pressed. I guarantee is it is not DOA for 3 days after receipt, otherwise, sold AS IS. Requires 2 AA batteries not included. |

Horace takes the lead on road safety

Created by Wallace and Gromit company Aardman, Horace has been introduced to highlight a road safety competition in which schoolchildren will be asked to create their own short animated films to communicate key road safety messages to fellow pupils.
New Lexus IS to debut at 2013 Detroit Auto Show
Wed, 05 Dec 2012The new Lexus IS - previewed at this year’s Paris Motor Show by the Lexus LF-CC Concept – will debut at the Detroit Auto Show in January 2013. Lexus effectively previewed the new IS with the Lexus LF-CC Concept (above) at the Paris Motor show in September (although that really previews a new Lexus IS Coupe to follow) so we know the new IS is going to follow the current Lexus path of producing good looking cars (like the latest Lexus GS). This time round it looks like Lexus are going to offer a hybrid IS 3000 as the route to the heart of fleet buyers in Europe with a 2.5 litre petrol four-cylinder mated to the usual box of batteries and motor, all running through a CVT ‘box (sadly).

Fri, 20 May 2011BMW has a history that is nearly unparalleled, and in celebration of the German company's unique blend of luxury and sport, it will showcase a tribute concept called the 328 Hommage this weekend at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este on the shores of Lake Como in Italy. The 328 Hommage will employ a straight six-cylinder powerplant and the familiar kidney-shaped BMW grille stretched upright in dramatic fashion. The interior and exterior make heavy use of carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic and there are no doors--just deep recesses.
