B) Lot Of 7 Eveready Mazda Ge Auto Lamp Bulbs; 1940s; New-old Stock; Orig. Box on 2040-parts.com
Wahoo, Nebraska, United States
Great graphics on the original box. All seven bulbs are new and unused. All in their original inner sleeves. Box is in fine condition, considering its age on a shelf. Some minor rips and overall age darkening. Flaps are all intact. Probably from the late 1940s or into the '50s. I have a large estate lot of vintage automobile bulbs and other accessories to sell, unused and in their original boxes, and will be offering them on my site on an ongoing basis. |

Government abandons plan to make driving test tougher
Sat, 24 May 2014Proposals to make learning to drive much tougher in a bid to improve road safety amongst young people have been abandoned by the government, Radio 1’s Newsbeat reports. The changes would have involved the introduction of a probationary licence for the first 12 months, a curfew on driving late at night and compulsory lessons on motorway driving. But plans have been scraped because they would restrict young drivers’ lives too much.
