C-MAP Essentials

Raymarine multifunction displays and chartplotters come bundled with C-MAP Essentials electronic navigation charts provided by Jeppesen.

C-MAP Essentials are a subset of C-MAP 4D MAX coastal navigation data and includes:

  • All critical navigation aids and chart objects
  • Coastal data showing all depth contours, depth shading and spot soundings out to 60ft (20m)
  • C-Marina icons that provide basic info (i.e. name, telephone number, VHF, etc)
  • Full tidal information with graph and prediction

The special edition Lotus Elise Club Racer in Old English White The Elise Club Racer is based on the entry level Elise, which endows it with Toyota’s 1.8 litre engine and five-speed ‘box, delivering 0-60 mph in 5.7 seconds and a top speed of 127 mph, and manages to average 37.2 mpg. Lotus has utilised its historic colours to pretty-up the Club Racer, so you get a choice of Elite Yellow, Carbon Grey, Sky Blue and Old English White for tha paint job – all 1960s Lotus colours. The exterior body colour is carried over to the interior, where the transmission tunnel colour mirrors the exterior together with silver and black highlights.

Flavio Briatore legal challenge to FIA ban

Flavio Briatore is launching legal action to get his lifetime ban overturned Flavio Briatore will start legal proceedings in the Paris Tribunal de Grande tomorrow in an attempt to overturn the lifetime ban he received from the FIA for his part in the ‘Singapore-Gate’ race fixing episode, which saw Nelson Piquet Jnr intentionally crashing his car to allow team mate Fernando Alonso to take victory in the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix. Briatore is claiming the life time ban from involvement in any FIA sanctioned Motor Sport – including driver management – is a legal absurdity. And he probably has a point.

Peugeot EX1 concept (2010) sets 'Ring record

Peugeot is not the first brand you'd suspect of testing at Germany's Nurburgring circuit. But not only has it taken its 2010 EX1 concept sports car to the infamous German circuit, but it's claimed a lap record. I'm sick of Nurburgring records.
