CU-396 Radiator with some damage.
This radiator pressures up fine, but the overflow connection is broken. The unit was originally shipped to Amazon, but was returned with damage. Two possible fixes are to replace plastic end or reattach the overflow tube with heat/moisture - resistant adhesive. There are some bent fins (as seen in the pictures), but no major damage seen. Wed, 04 Aug 2010The tweaked - and more powerful - Land Rover Freelander 2 2011 Back in May we reported that there would be a facelift for the Freelander 2 for 2011, with the required cosmetic tweaks to keep it fresh for another year or two, and to bring the Freelander 2 in to line with the rest of Land Rover’s models. Here we are three months later and Land Rover have revealed the 2011 Freelander 2 – and a surprise. The surprise is that Land Rover aren’t waiting for the Range Rover Evoque to hit the roads to piss off the Land Rover aficionados by launching a 2WD model, they’ve decided to get it out of the way early and are going to launch a 2WD Freelander 2 in January 2011.

Chevrolet Volt fire probe is closed, NHTSA says
Sat, 21 Jan 2012U.S. safety regulators said Friday that they've closed an eight-week investigation into the Chevrolet Volt, concluding that the plug-in hybrid's battery doesn't pose a significant fire risk following a crash. In a statement, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said it "does not believe that Chevy Volts or other electric vehicles pose a greater risk of fire than gasoline-powered vehicles." The agency said that modifications intended to reinforce the Volt's 435-pound lithium-ion battery pack that General Motors announced on Jan.
