Six tie down attachments WITH HARDWARE  24 - 5/16" X  2-1/2" long carriage bolts, 24 - fender washers and 24 - 3/8" nuts. Has a 6,000 lb. vertical pull weight rating. BMW and Toyota plan engine-swap deal, reports say

Details have begun to emerge about a planned engine-swap deal between BMW and Toyota. Set to be made public at the Tokyo motor show this week, the cooperation is said to center on BMW supplying Toyota with four- and six-cylinder common-rail diesel engines for use in a wide range of models. In return, Toyota plans to provide BMW with technology used to combine combustion engines and electric motors in various hybrid applications.

The Interior Motives Awards 2012 judging panel has whittled down a huge amount of entries into this year's competition to a shortlist of potential winners. The list can be viewed here. Over 160 aspiring young designers from 47 schools in 17 countries entered the competition, reflecting the growing recognition of the importance of the Interior Motives Student Design Awards among would-be vehicle designers.
