Muscle cars dominate the world's biggest automotive accessories fair, and this Dodge Charger epitomises the wild style motors that pepper SEMA's 1m square feet of show floor. Hyundai Genesis, Ford F-150 win awards at the Detroit auto show

On Sunday of the Detroit Auto Show, Hyundai Genesis won the 2009 North American Car of the Year award, nipping the Ford Flex by a miniscule nine-point margin. The redesigned Ford F-150 pickup, the odds-on favorite in the truck category, was named 2009 North American Truck of the Year. Genesis beat out the Flex and the third-place finisher, the Volkswagen Jetta TDI, despite being the first Korean car ever nominated for the award.

2013 Dodge Challenger owners urged to park cars

Chrysler Group is warning about 2,500 owners of 2013 Dodge Challengers with V6 engines built in December and January not to drive their cars because of a potential short-circuit that could lead to a fire. At least seven such fires have occurred, none causing injury, on Challengers built from Dec. 3, 2012, through Jan.
