For sale is a Forge Motorsport FMDVRLK silicon diverter valve relocation kit. Brand new.

This kit allows you to relocate the diverter valve from the hot side of the turbo to the cold side of the intercooler on the VW Golf, SEAT Leon (not Ibiza), Skoda Octavia and Audi A3, TT 1.8T engines of 150-180 HP. For the 210/225 versions of this engine, please see FMDV225RLK.

By relocating the valve in this way there are two benefits. Firstly, due to operating in lower temperatures, the longevity of the valve is increased. Secondly, after relocation, the air that is recirculated back into the intake tract to the turbo will be cooler. Cooler air has a greater density. The greater the density of the charge mix in the cylinder the more power generated on combustion.

Please be aware that these hoses were patterned from right hand drive vehicles. Whilst we believe these to be correct for left hand drive vehicles we suggest that you visually check their suitability, as replacement items, with those fitted to your own vehicle, before attempting installation.

Fits AWP engine code only.

Mini Cooper (2013) tech-spec and prices of new Mini

Mon, 18 Nov 2013

By Damion Smy First Official Pictures 18 November 2013 14:30 The new Mini model line-up starts with the Mini Cooper, Mini Cooper S and Mini Cooper D at launch, with a full line-up expected to trickle through after the March 2014 expected showroom arrival. The new stiffer, more rigid platform makes this the biggest Mini ever: the Cooper, which sits on 15in alloys, is 98mm longer, 44mm wider, sites 7mm higher and has wider tracks front and rear, too. The longer wheelbase means more stability and less of that Mini go-kart like skittishness around corners, as well as more passenger room and a larger, 211-litre boot.

But it has.

Lotus Esprit James Bond car up for auction

Sat, 29 Jun 2013

The Lotus Esprit Submarine (pictured) from the James Bond 007 film is up for auction James Bond and cars go together like bacon and eggs and, with the exception of the 007 Aston Martin DB5, the Lotus Esprit ‘Submarine’ car from the Spy Who Loved Me is probably the most iconic Bond car to have hit the big screen. Piloted in the film by Roger Moore – with Mrs Ringo Starr, Barbara Bach, at his side – the underwater version of the Esprit, one of six used in the film, was affectionately know to the crew as ‘Wet Nellie’ and actually piloted for the underwater scenes by former SEAL Don Griffin, who worked as a test pilot for the creators of the Esprit Submarine - Perry Oceanographic. After filming ended it was sent of to a storage unit in Long Island, ten years rent was paid upfront but, when the 10 year rent period ended, no one stepped forward to claim the contents at they were sold off for a song to a local couple.
