This is an extremely rare reconditioned original glass bowl fuel filter manufactured by AC/Delco as their part number GF48P.  This style filter was original equipment on 1957 thru 59 Pontiac passenger cars without air conditioning.  What makes this unit so rare is the large inlet and outlet size. The more popular units had 1/8" pipe threads where this unit has 1/4" pipe thread. The is the version with the "AC" logo on the end of the cover over the outlet.  You are bidding on one filter assembly with new element. Domestic Buyers to pay $8.00 shipping.  Payment must be made by check or Paypal within 10 days of auction close.

Nissan Juke gets economy tweaks

Thu, 22 Sep 2011

The Nissan Juke gets economy tweaks It’s a bit of  a Marmite car, the Nissan Juke. Some who see it for the first time are appalled at what an ungainly looking car the Juke is. Others find its cute ugliness a real breath of fresh air.

Toyota Prius plug-in to cost from £31k

Wed, 21 Sep 2011

Toyota Prius plug-in will cost £31k We thought it was probably too good to be true. When we revealed that the US price for the new Toyota Prius plug-in was 36 per cent more than a regular Prius, we did hope that price increase would apply to the UK too. Because if Toyota were to do the same in the UK, the plug-in Prius would have come in – after the taxpayer very generously chipped in a £5k subsidy for ‘eco’ cars – at a ‘buy’ price in the UK around £2.5k more than the non plug-in Prius.

Hyundai arrives in Piccadilly Circus

Hyundai arrives in Piccadilly Circus If you want a clear sign of how mainstream Hyundai has become, the news that it’s taken over the iconic billboard display in Piccadilly Circus from Sanyo is as much evidence as you need. Piccadilly Circus is the UK version of Times Square, and the neon signs have been a splash of international colour washing over Eros for a century, during which time there have been just fifty brands showcasing their wares to the 50 million or more passing Londoners – and visitors – every year, not counting the millions more who see the signs on Piccadilly Circus postcards that still wing their way round the world. The new Hyundai spot – which has been the Sanyo space for the last 33 years – is the last of the spaces to rely on neon lights to get its message across.
