For auction is a gear reduction starter that will replace a Lucas unit. LRS102, S3512 16121; It may have many other applications unknown to us, (as most period and later period MG), so double check and research as much as you can. We purchased this unit from eBay previously.
The previous seller claimed it would fit all Sprites and Midgets. WRONG We hope this will help you if your on the edge, take note of this in your search and research. I guess I was slightly wrong, if you have a sledge or hydraulic press anything will fit.... We also were told it was a new units, but it is in fact a reman/remanufuctured unit. The starter will package in a 8x8x10 box at 9lbs 15oz and shipped in whatever manner the winning bidder desires at EXACT COST. We don't charge for packing, inflation, or cheeseburgers for the office.....
