Hungarian Grand Prix (2010) RESULT

Hungary F1 2010 Back to back with the German Grand Prix, the Hungarian Grand Prix looked like it would be a backward step for the McLarens, with Hamilton wringing the neck of his McLaren (the one Ron Dennis says he can’t complain about – but should) to get a poor grid position and Button languishing back in 11th after failing to even reach the final qualifying. The race didn’t get any better for McLaren either. They came to Hungary hoping the flexi-wing employed by Red Bull and Ferrari – which is said to be good for a second a lap – would be banned.

Ford has been the automotive darling of the Consumer Electronics Show for several years now. On Friday morning, Ford CEO Alan Mulally made a historic third keynote speech, during which he introduced the new Focus Electric and a host of new supporting technologies, which appear to keep Ford near the top of the technological pack. New 1.0-litre turbo for Vauxhall Adam

A frugal new 1.0-litre SIDI three-cylinder turbo petrol engine will go on sale in the Vauxhall Adam city car in 2014, following its debut at next month’s 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The new low-emissions unit – a rival to Ford’s 1.0 Ecoboost engine in the Fiesta and Focus – will deliver “impressive fuel economy and CO2 emissions significantly lower than 100g/km”, according to Vauxhall.
