Condition:Remanufactured

This listing is for re-facing 8 customer supplied valve tappets. Your worn tappets will be restored to new condition using precision radius surface grinding. This is an excellent choice in cases where new tappets are either expensive, hard to find or completely unavailable. Flat spots, scoring and pitting on the ends of tappets will ruin the tips of valves. New valves or re-ground tips on used valves won't last unless the tappets are also in good condition.  2nd picture is a before/after comparison.

Once this service is purchased simply ship your tappets to our shop and they will be completed and sent back within 1-2 business days. We offer complete cylinder head machine services and custom valve train components specializing in vintage Japanese applications. Thanks for looking!

Sat, 30 Apr 2011

Wills & Kate take Charles DB6 Volante for a spin down the Mall As gifts on a wedding day go – even a Royal Wedding Day – using your dad’s prized Aston Martin DB6 Volante to whisk your new bride away is quite special. With the agreement of the Prince of Wales, Prince Harry managed to fit out Prince Charles’ DB6 Volante with ribbons and bows and a JU5T WED number plate so the newly apponted Duke of Cambridge could whisk the Duchess of Cambridge away after the reception at Buckingham Palace. Although ‘whisk away’ is perhaps a bit too rash a statement, when they only managed to go a few hundred yards down the Mall to Clarence House for a break before the evening’s festivities.
