Drake Jet Pump ( Drake was one of the partners of the ( OFFENHAUSER DRAKE Indy car engine fame) out of Schiada 22 ft Day Cruiser. 1974 model D12A, Jet SN 138. Impeller is mag bronze in good condition. OD of impeller is 10 inches and OD of impeller wear ring is 8 inches. Would make a good propulsion system for a river boat or work boat.
Impeller, shaft, nozzle units are in good condition. Intake has been removed. All fasteners are included. GM Bell Housing can be removed and use a U-Joint drive shaft for your engine. Based on the regular Aero chassis, the Life Car is part DTI-funded and involves partnerships with Oxford University and a company that developed fuel-cell technology for military applications – such as providing medical teams with power during conflicts. The Life Car is predicted to weigh 600kg, have a small fuel cell delivering 33bhp and, erm, no brakes.
Bentley gives Continental GT Speed even more power
Thu, 27 Feb 2014The Bentley Continental GT Speed has never been accused of being a slouch when it came to power, bluntly incorporating the word Speed in its name, but it seems the company's engineers believe there is still room for improvement. And so for 2015 the Bentley Continental GT Speed and Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertible will receive a slight bump up in power, and will now offer 626-hp and 607 lb-ft of torque. That's up from 616-hp and 590 lb-ft of torque in the 2014 versions of this 6.0-liter W12 beast.
