Jaguar F-Type Paris Motor Show debut: Official
Fri, 10 Aug 2012We already knew that the new Jaguar F-Type would get its production debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, but now it’s official. Jaguar has mastered the ‘launch’ of a new car in the digital age, with endless teaser photos and videos, trickles of information, official ‘Spy’ photos and tempting new little revelations at appropriate intervals. Enthusiast 3D prints an Aston Martin DB4
Thu, 01 Aug 2013New Zealand enthusiast Ivan Sentch is in the process of 3D printing a 1961 Aston Martin DB4. Engadget reports that he bought a $499 Solidoodle 3D printer and has been working on this project since December 2012. Using a Nissan Skyline as a donor car, he'll make a fiberglass mold of the print and hopefully transform this thing into a drivable, street-legal car for a fraction of the cost of an authentic DB4.
