Ssangyong e-XIV EV Concept at Paris 2012
Mon, 10 Sep 2012Ssangyong are continuing their concept offensive with the e-XIV EV Concept, a range extender compact SUV. We’ve recently seen a big push for the Korando SX, with Ssangyong pitching it hard against the competition as the cheapest way in to a compact SUV, and at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year we had a concept pointing to the next generation compact SUV from Ssangyong with the convertible Ssangyong XIV-2.
BMW's new M engine needs a better voice
Thu, 26 Sep 2013BMW's M division claims its new twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine is every bit as good -- if not better -- than the glorious, naturally aspirated 4.0-liter V8 powerplant it replaces in the new M3 sedan and M4 coupe. The figures are certainly impressive. They say it kicks out 424 hp and more than 25 percent extra torque, with what is described as significantly more than 369 lb-ft below 2,000 rpm.
Audi sports car concept previews new TT (2014)

The TT is a style icon for the brand, with its third-generation looking to use sharper, more aggressive lines from this showcar. While the concept – plainly named ‘The new Audi Show Car’ – rides on ridiculously large alloys and has ‘trademark all-road ground clearance’, and while it won’t form the basis of any particular new model.
