Up for sale is the like-new condition Kosmic kart with Rotax 125cc DD2 engine, as pictured. It has zero hours since a complete engine rebuild done by Msquared Karting which was done late-2015 (invoice included). The chassis is a Kosmic and features all the original OTK magnesium components as supplied from factory as well as the optional OTK skid plates underneath for added protection. Also features J3 magnesium wheels with Mojo D3 tires as pictured. I'm willing to ship at buyers expense - please expect around $300 depending on your location. Some extras will be included such as: Original Rotax ID card (passport) and original invoice from rebuild, as well as the original battery charger and a few misc parts and tools (tire changer, etc). The RAC Foundation calls for Road Charging. According to RAC Foundation Director Stephen Glaister, a predicted 33% increase in traffic by 2025 and a reduction in road building schemes and cuts in general make a  pay as you go system the answer to congested roads. All of which is fine and dandy – it gives the RAC Foundation something to do and gets them a bit of PR – but it”s hardly joined-up thinking.

Volkswagen joins Global Rallycross with Foust and Speed

The biggest splash at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show might have been made by Volkswagen on Thursday. The giant German automaker, along with Andretti Autosport, unveiled its 560-hp, all-wheel-drive Global Rallycross Beetle. GRC champion Tanner Foust will pilot the first car while ex-Formula One driver Scott Speed will helm the second.

General Motors, laying down a high-stakes bet on the future of vehicle connectivity, plans to make each of its cars an Internet hotspot with a high-speed broadband connection. By mid-2014, GM will team with AT&T Inc. to equip most 2015 models in the United States and Canada with 4G LTE broadband, the fastest type of wireless Internet connection now available.
