Küryakyn strongly recommends recalibration of the ECM on all EFI models using a tool such as the Küryakyn Wild Things Fuel Injection Controller (P/N 9218) for Metric models, all sold separately. Ford is joining Audi, BMW, Chevrolet, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Porsche and a few boutique makers with its 2013 Shelby Mustang GT500. It's not so easy to get 662 hp down to the ground successfully, so Ford does it for you with overclocked computers and precise brake, throttle and clutch control.
Bentley 6¾ litre V8 to end production – Diesels & Hybrid on the way
Fri, 17 Aug 2012Bentley’s outgoing boss has revealed Bentley are planning to drop their trademark 6¾ litre V8 and introduce hybrid and diesel options. Bentley’s famed 6¾ litre V8 engine – in production since 1959, although it didn’t grow to 6¾ litre until 1970 - is as much a USP for Bentley as the badge and the history. BMW tried to bring production of the old iron lump to an end in 1998 – replacing it with a characterless BMW 4.4 litre V8 – but it was back a year later when VW took over as the motivation for the Red Label Arnage – and it’s stayed ever since.

Fri, 28 May 2010A Swiss Company is offering replica Maybach Exeleros We’re not huge fans of the Maybach here at Cars UK, as you’ll know if you’ve been here before. It’s just so ill-conceived it beggars belief that a company as savvy and successful as Mercedes can’t see it. Mind you, we’re convinced they’ve just about given up on Maybach – even though they deny it – and the 100 Maybach Coupes being built by Xenatec are a swansong to the marque, which we’re convinced will go the same way it did in its previous life by simply stopping production.
