For Sale is a brand new Lake Effect Snow Co. 8" total height handlebar riser for a Yamaha Apex and Vector snowmobile. This set up is 2" higher than the factory OEM riser and is a true bolt on and go replacement riser. (you won't need longer cables with this set up) The pivot adapter is a 3" piece that fits perfectly into the chrome beauty ring over the console and a 5" strut riser mounts on top holding your 7/8" handlebars. The 5" strut riser is finished with polished aluminum struts and bronze anodized top and bottom caps and middle accessory bar You won't find a stronger handlebar riser on the planet. All aluminum is machined 6061 T-6, even the bottom caps. All fastener hardware is stainless steel.  Original retail pricing was $175.00 for this set up. 

First Corvette Stingray Convertible sells for $1 million

The first Chevrolet Corvette Stingray to be built has been auctioned for charity by Barrett Jackson  and bought by Rick Hendrick for $1 million. The new Corvette Stingray Convertible was offered for sale this weekend at Barratt Jackson’s auction in Palm Beach, Florida, with GM donating the healthy proceeds of $1 million to the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute. The Stingray Convertible was bought by wealthy NASCAR team owner Rick Hendrick, who can now add the Stingray Convertible to his collection of cars, which also includes the first of the new Stingrays for which he paid $1.1 million.

The Nissan Leaf is pitched as ‘the world’s first affordable, zero-emission car’, a bespoke EV for global sale. The range of the Nissan Leaf is more than 100 miles – enough for 70% of people’s driving requirements, says Nissan, and it can seat five adults.

Mercedes C Class sales top 500,000

It’s nice to hear a bit of good news for a change. Mercedes has just passed a big landmark with sales of the current C Class, passing the 500,000 mark since the car’s launch in March of 2007. The C Class is the modern version of the 190 – the car everyone said would be the downfall of Mercedes.
