Reva NXR launched & Reva NXG revealed at Frankfurt

The Reva NXG which has been revealed at Frankfurt The Reva NXR is the proper launch and will be available to order straight away with delivery starting in early 2010. The styling is still pretty unconvincing, but for a small city EV it’s probably acceptable. The NXR is a three-door, four seat hatchback with a range of around 100 miles per charge and a top speed of 65mph.

Vauxhall If there’s one thing the Vauxhall Adam has really been missing since it was launched back in 2012, it’s a modern engine line-up. Now that’s about to change with the imminent introduction of a new 1.0-litre Ecotec turbo petrol unit. Vauxhall is targeting best in class refinement for its new turbo petrol The new engine follows the recent trend for high efficiency three-cylinder designs, and will come in 90hp and 115hp variants with emissions as low as 99g/km CO2.

2013 Range Rover Hybrid confirmed

Jaguar Land Rover Director Hybrids and Electrification, Peter Richings, has confirmed the Range Rover hybrid will launch in 2013. From the new, entry-level 3.0 litre diesel Vogue to the 5.0 litre V8 Supercharged Range Rover Autobiography,  all the new Range Rovers offer more performance, more off-road ability (or certainly easier off-road running thanks to the new automatic Terrain Response) together with lower emissions and improved economy. But although the new 3.0 litre TDV6 Range Rover will offer 196g/km emissions and manage 37.7 mpg there is going to be a new Range Rover Hybrid that cuts emissions to just 169g/km.
