Applications: Mobil Special 5W-20, 5W-30* and 10W-30* are recommended for gasoline fueled automobiles and light duty trucks requiring an API SN, SM, SL or SJ. They also meet ILSAC GF-5 (Starburst Certification Symbol). Mobil Special 10W-40 and 20W-50 are recommended for gasoline fueled automobiles and light duty trucks where a higher viscosity API SN, SM, SL, SJ oil is preferred or recommended. Mobil Special 20W-50 has a higher viscosity reserve which provides engines with full protection under higher operating speeds, temperatures, and other adverse conditions. Before using a Mobil Special motor oils, consult the owner's manual of the vehicle for the manufacturer's recommended viscosity grade and API Service Classification. *In order to meet corporate global product naming conventions, the product names for the SAE viscosities 5W-30 and 10W-30 only, will carry the X1 descriptor in the labels, MSDS and ExxonMobil systems: (e.g.: Mobil Special X1 5W-30 and Mobil Special X1 10W-30). Toyota to close Australian design studio
Mon, 10 Feb 2014Toyota designers at its Technical Center Asia Pacific Australia (TTCAP-AU) are to lose their jobs as part of Toyota's decision to scale back the facility's activities as well as halting all manufacturing within the country by 2017. The TTCAP-AU, which carries out all its Australian design and evaluation operations, employs 150 designers and modelers and it's possible that its activities with the Camry, Camry Hybrid and Aurion models could be scrapped, raising doubts over its future. Around 2,500 employees at Toyota's Altona manufacturing plant are expected to lose their jobs, although the effects are likely to be wider ranging.
Rolls-Royce expands Bespoke operation
Thu, 11 Aug 2011Rolls-Royce has decided to expand its Bespoke operation due to increasing customer demand for bespoke items, a company trademark. The Bespoke operation team, based at Goodwood, West Sussex, consists of designers, engineers and project management staff and will be doubled by the end of this year, bringing the number of Bespoke experts to over 50. Already in 2011 Rolls-Royce has seen a growing demand for bespoke additions to their cars, leading to the need to recruit more staff in key areas to match growing customer demands.

The best four submissions – the Brabus Widestar, Urban Whip, Pikes Peak Rally Racer and Rock Crawler - were displayed at SEMA. And presumably scared a lot of showgoers senseless.
