Snap type microswitch with both normally open and normally closed output terminals switches of identical electrical rating and physical dimensions have been fitted to lots of different makes of OEM and aftermarket outboard, inboard and I/O control boxes as a neutral-safety [aka start-in-neutral] switch literally for decades and will be used far into the future; if it ain't broke, don't fix it! Your old one could be have a brand name like Cherry, Holly, Omron, Eaton, or dozens of others but they're all interchangeable* This will replace "OEM" switches such as Teleflex 300928 for which your dealer charges an arm & a leg but they are in no way superior to this one - in fact they may come from the exact same source. Packaging states that terminals/contacts on this are silver-plated brass. Remember these are made to industry specifications! Generally secured to box with small locating pins or #2-56 screws at two diagonally opposed corners as illustrated.  Switch measures roughly an inch long and 5/8" wide; those are approximations for identification of item.  If yours resembles the one in the pic, regardless of color, brand name, or manufacturer's imprinted part number, odds are 99.99% that this is the matching switch. Spade terminals fit .187" wide female spade terminals; 2 included with this item so if your old switch uses the wider 1/4" connectors, Fear Not!  Fast'n'Free Shipping via 1st class parcel.  Check my FB and bid with confidence. Please Ask-Question if you have any, well, questions about this item; I'm here to help you get your boat up&running for cheap dough. Thanks for looking.

*Note your old switch may have only one output terminal either a 'normally open' or 'normally closed' one - simply connect key switch to common terminal and starter relay lead to whichever terminal is "hot" when control handle is in neutral - different controls' mechanisms either push in or release the plunger button in neutral. IOW, this switch replaces EITHER type - buy this switch or risk getting one that doesn't work on your box!

Kia GT4 Stinger concept headed to Detroit auto show

Thu, 02 Jan 2014

The Detroit auto show is just a few days away, and Kia has shown us a glimpse of the concept car that it will be unveiling at the show on January 13th. Dubbed the GT4 Stinger, the concept is a low and wide 2+2 sports car, featuring an expansive grille framed by vertical LED headlights. Like the Kia GT concept we saw in Frankfurt in 2011, the GT4 stinger is supposedly rear-wheel drive.
