NOS brand new fuel filter for 1957-1958 Corvettes with Fuel Injection.  Also fits the rare Pontiac Fuel Injection of those same years.

Never used or installed, still-in-the-box AC brand filter #GF130 or also known as #854386.

As obvious in the photos, the original large O-ring has hardened and cracked/broken.

The small O-ring installed on the filter's top looks fine, but I would always suggest replacing rubber parts that are this old.

Note the small crack in the flange at the opening.  I've seen this before on these filters, and I don't believe that it is any real problem with function, but please be aware of it before purchasing.

Instructions are faded but completely legible (see photo).  Box is shopworn and has handwritten note from a parts counter person mentioned some applications.

Due to be unveiled officially at the Goodwood Revival in September, the Evanta Barchetta has been made by Ant-Kahn, the name for the surprise new partnership first revealed by CAR magazine earlier in summer 2014. It's a retro-styled roadster with seats for two and a wardrobe inspired by 1950s motorsport.

CAR's review of 2009: the cars that die

Wed, 30 Dec 2009

It’s been out with the old for a host of models in 2009, some provoking misty-eyed fond farewells, some told not to let the factory door hit them on the bumper on the way out. We pick the saddest and happiest goodbyes of the year. A sculpted drop-top with rear-wheel drive and a frantically schizophrenic VTEC engine.  What’s not to like?
