Sway Control

Pro Series Friction Sway Control

Pro Series Friction Sway Control

FEATURES:
Friction Sway Control uses friction to resist pivotal movement and thereby works against the effects of induced sway. It operates on the principle of "stiffening" the coupling between the tow vehicle and trailer. The degree of "stiffening" or friction is adjusted to suit various trailer weights and towing conditions. Its operation is simple and uncomplicated. It doesn't prevent the generation of sway; it simply works to resist the forces once they have started.
  • Installs and removes easily
  • Removes with two spring locking pins
  • Heavy construction for added reliability
  • Friction brake keeps trailer and tow vehicle stable
  • Quick attachment to trailer frame and ball mount
  • Can be used on left and right side of trailer

Pro Series offers the best values and is one of the widest product lines in the towing marketing. A diverse selection of products including fifth wheels, goosenecks, weight distribution systems, receiver hitches, jacks, couples, winches, trailer brake controls, trailer breakaway systems, and cargo management are just a few of the items available. The Pro Series product line is made by the best names in the industry and strikes a balance between high performance and low price. When shopping for your next trailer product or camping accessory, remember that Pro Series is the product line that provides Legendary Value.

Video: Jaguar's Julian Thomson on the importance of design values

Tue, 30 Oct 2012

Jaguar's Head of Advanced Design, Julian Thomson, appeared at this month's PSFK Conference in London giving a talk on design values. Thomson's talk, ‘Concepting Dreams, Making Reality Happen', dealt with questions of creating a design story as well as how Jaguar uses the value of its heritage while keeping things original and new. Thomson – the man behind the 2010 C-X75 and the recently revealed F-Type – said, "You can't get a good design story if you don't look at your heritage, where you came from, where your values came from." He went on to discuss the ‘sad years of Jaguar', from around 1968 to 2004 where Jaguar was too timid to develop and "essentially made the same-looking car." He put this down to a reluctance on Jaguar's part to move too far away from its successful models and, quite interestingly, because "not only did we start doing market research, we started asking Americans what they wanted." London black cabs to go 100% green by 2018

Mon, 20 Jan 2014

The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, announced plans this week that will require all new London taxis to be zero-emission capable from 1 January 2018. The Mayor was speaking at Transport for London's 'New Taxis for London', an event where he met five manufacturers currently developing vehicles designed to meet the new requirements. Boris Johnson has previously pledged to make the capital an Ultra Low Emission Zone by 2020, although some have argued that it needs to come sooner than that.

Renault Twingo and Clio Grand Tour

Thu, 08 Mar 2007

By Ben Whitworth Motor Shows 08 March 2007 10:12 French but sans le funky look A busy show stand for Renault – as well as unveiling its new Twingo city car, the French manufacturer pulled the wraps off a thinly disguised version of its upcoming Clio estate to take on its Fabia and Peugeot 207 wagon rivals. After the funked up coolness of the Twingo concept car shown at the Paris Motor Show last year, we are more than a little underwhelmed by the production Twingo. Renault is keen to move away from the utilitarian look and feel of the original model – it will leave cheap and cheerful sales to the Clio Campus – and pitch the new model at sharper-suited rivals like the Mini.
