Here is the story. FEEL FREE TO MAKE AN OFFER!

Our father was a master watch maker and automotive car clock expert. He would travel the New England and NY/NJ area in search of car clocks. He would then repair/rebuild them and sell them at automotive car markets like Hershey and other venues in NY, NJ, CT and MA. Over the years he accumulated approximately 500 vintage automotive, military and airplane clocks.

If you ever went to the Hershey automotive show in Hershey, Pennsylvania you may have seen him there in the Chocolate field (I think it was spaces CJ 67-68).

He enjoyed his time there and my brother and I helped him when we could.

He unfortunately passed away nearly 4 years ago and we are left to liquidate his clock inventory.

We will be putting up for sale the 500 or so clocks and miscellaneous items on eBay a few at a time.

All of the clocks up for sale were cleaned and oiled no less then 5 years ago by our father, at this time all of the clocks were in running condition.

We will recheck each clock before we post them.

I am sorry that we are not clock experts and therefore will not always be able to tell you if the clock fits this car or that car. I hope you understand.

If you have any questions please feel free to email us.

Thanks.

BMW wins engine of year

Wed, 09 May 2007

By Ben Whitworth Motor Industry 09 May 2007 05:51 BMW’s twin turbo 3.0-litre engine – the mighty 306bhp straight six from the 335i - has taken top honours at the 2007 International Engine of the Year Awards, the engineering equivalent of the Oscars. This is an unprecedented third year in a row that BMW has clinched the title of International Engine of the Year Award – in 2006 it was the M6’s V10 that took the title, and the M5’s V10 claimed gold in 2005. Other winners, judged by the panel of 62 motoring journalists from 30 countries across the globe, included Porsche for its biturbo 3.6-litre flat six (unbelievably, the first time Zuffenhausen has won an IEYA award), Toyota for the Prius’ 1.5-litre hybrid unit, and Volkswagen’s TSI twincharger 1.4-litre unit.

BMW Alpina B3 S Bi-Turbo launches

Mon, 24 May 2010

The Alpina B3 S Bi-Turbo 2010 arrives in Sytner showrooms in July Actually, the 2010 Alpina B3 S Bi-Turbo launched at the Geneva Motor Show a couple of months back, but in amongst all the glitz, glamour and endless launches we don’t seemed to have picked it up. Slapped hands all round. The Alpina B3 S Bi-Turbo is something we’ll probably have to get used to in the M3 – no V8.
