Peugeot & Citroen cut Electric Car prices
Mon, 19 Mar 2012Peugeot Citroen EV Price Cut The prices of both the Citroen C-Zero and the Peugeot iOn have been cut by £6,939 and new contract hire deals have been added. We know that sales of electric cars (EV) are woeful, and that nothing more than a handful of private buyers have actually bought in to the dream that is an electric car future. With that in mind it’s no surprise that the enormous list price of the Citroen C-Zero EV and Peugeot iOn EV have been slashed by £6,939, bringing the price down to a still silly £26,216, although, at least for now, you can still get the taxpayer bribe of £5,000 bringing the price you pay down to £21,216.

So although technically I suppose we should call it a leak because the details are not exactly concrete – and the photos are of camouflaged cars – it’s more of a tease than a leak. The photos tell us not a huge amount – it’s a new BMW X3 with some black and white bits on.
New Renault Clio comes with Va Va Voom Button (+ video)
Sun, 31 Mar 2013Renault UK has produced adverts for the new 2013 Renault Clio that feature a ‘Va Va Voom’ button to transport UK drivers to the heart of Paris. Mired in the problems of over-capacity, a stroppy workforce and a world that has fallen out of love with mainstream hatches, the new Clio needs to sell. And sell well.
