Spqr Mk Ii Austin Morris Mini Engine Stabilising Kit In Original Box on 2040-parts.com
Alexandria, Virginia, United States
SPQR Engine Stabilising Kit in its original box. For the MK 2 Austin and Morris Mini and Mini Cooper S with manual gearbox. Presumably works on Riley Elf and Wolseley Hornet as well. Also Mini estate (Countryman and Traveller), van, and pickup. I'm not sure whether this kit is complete; however, based on the label on the box I think it is. The box contains two metal rods that attach to the power plant and then to the subframe. It's designed to keep the engine from rocking under acceleration. I presume it also fits MKI Minis - as I recall there were no major (if there were any) differences between the MKI and MKII manual powerplants and subframes. Does not work with automatic gearboxes.
I'm happy to ship overseas - please email for a postage quote.
