Weymouth, Massachusetts, United States
Used unit in near-new condition; I've looked it over and it's clean and rust-free. Probably has a couple of micro chips in factory paint job if you look real close especially around the screw holes but that's unavoidable during normal installation. Why would you pay double the price for new in plastic bag?
Brand:Teleflex / Seastar Solutions Country/Region of Manufacture:United States Manufacturer Part Number:SA27256P

Bracket bolts to transom and holds tube for push-pull steering cable connected to outboard tiller point with clevis attachment. Variously referred to as a 'deadman' or a 'standoff'.  A must for smaller HP or older outboards without provision for steering through a built-in tube.  Often required on older boats with very narrow splash wells or curved transoms like early 13ft Whaler where the steering rod won't clear the transom.  This was mounted on a boat I purchased recently; the new outboard doesn't require this so it's being offered for sale at a starting bid half of what a new kit costs on this same auction site.  Why pay double the price for a plastic bag and an instruction sheet?  I've come across a couple of these on boats I ended up repowering or parting out; never had a problem selling at this price range 'cuz it's a no-brainer to buy a clean used one at half off new. Shipping is dirt cheap via fast USPS Priority Mail.

Check my FB and bid with confidence. Please Ask-a-Question if you have any, well, questions about this item; I'm here to help you get your boat up&running for cheap dough. Thanks for looking.

*Quoted shipping charge is my actual cost at the post office plus additional fees imposed by the selling venue; I do not make a profit on shipping.
