Zerk fitting allows you to lubricate the back and front bearing by pushing out old grease while supplying new grease. All kits include: bearings, sales, dust cap, cotter key, and lug nuts or bolts. Compatible with a 5 Stud application and has a 1750 pound capacity. Fits bearings 1-3/8” inner and 1-1/16” outerbearings with tapered spindles. Comes with lug nuts, and is painted.

VW and BYD have signed an agreement to work together on developing battery technology (BYD F3DM plug-in Hybrid pictured). Volkswagen has announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Chinese car maker and EV specialist BYD to work together “in the area of electric mobility”. Seems sensible.

Jaguar: Sales rose 8% in 2008

Jaguar Cars Ltd., which stopped reporting sales figures after being purchased by India's Tata Motors in June, said global sales rose 8 percent last year while U.S. volume fell. Jaguar sold 65,000 vehicles in 2008, Managing Director Mike O'Driscoll said in an interview at the Detroit auto show.

It's just been unveiled in Japan, costs over £100k and Nissan says the new car is ‘targeted specifically at enthusiast drivers who desire race car-level performance in a street-legal vehicle’.
