Brand new premium quality stainless steel fully retractable key lock manual radio antenna for Triumph TR6 TR2 TR3 TR4 TR4A TR5 TR250 TR7 TR8 Spitfire GT6 or Stag car. It fits all Triumph cars except the Dolomite.
Specifically engineered mounting head kit provides an extremely sturdy mount without the use or installation of a secondary stand off metal bracket inside of the car body. This important design feature allows installation of this flush mount antenna on many Triumph cars which have limited underside access and it greatly simplifies installation on all cars. In fact, most of the time this well designed model can be installed from outside the car! Four section stainless steel mast provides maximum AM FM reception. Mounts from the outside through either of the common 7/8" or 1" diameter antenna car body holes originally installed or it can be mounted from the inside out through an antenna hole as small as 1/2". Large exterior 1 5/8" antenna hole finishing cover which is big enough to hide any old outline that your previous antenna may have left on your car finish. No need to cut out an antenna hole if you use a car cover. Completely out of the way while servicing or cleaning your car. When fully retracted the antenna cannot be extended without the use of the key which helps to prevent vandalism. Requires only 9 1/2 inches of under body depth for exterior installation and only 9 1/8 inches for inside out installations. Since several different aerial mounting positions were used on the various 1920 - 1980 Triumph models and years please check to ensure that you have at least 9 1/2 inches of clearance for the tube below the antenna hole. Includes 48" of cable with a standard male radio end plug. On rear fender mount antenna locations, please check to see if 48" of cable will either reach the back of your radio or an existing antenna cable connector. If not, an extension cable will be required to reach your radio. If needed ee do carry a 12 foot extension cable which can be added to your antenna order for $8.00. Porsche Panamera revealed at Shanghai Motor Show
Sun, 19 Apr 2009Porsche has finally officially revealed the Porsche Panamera at the Shanghai Motor Show As we’ve said before, the Panamera is not the most stunning looking of cars, and is left in the wake of the Aston Martin Rapide in the style department. But it would seem to us that Porsche is going to have another Cayenne-like success on its hands with the Panamera. As with the Cayenne, its looks are criticised, but it does everything else so remarkably well, and has the kudos of the Porsche badge, and it’s hard to see how it will fail.
