This is a vintage FDI (Filter Dynamics International) oil filter K-51, metal canister type.  It is in very good condition in an unopened box.  There is a small 1" dent at the right top. (see photo)  It is 4 3/4" high and 4" in diameter. Comes with the gasket.  Please look at all of my photos. Photo of the back of pkg. lists the cars it will fit. Caterham R300 Superlight unveiled

Powered by a 2.0-litre Ford Duratec engine, tweaked by Caterham Powertrain to produce 175bhp, the new R300 will sprint to 60mph in 4.5 seconds.  The new R300 weighs a mere 515kg, just 15kg more than CAR’s long-term 1.6-litre Superlight. Combined with the new 175bhp engine, the R300 has a power-to-weight ratio of 339bhp-per-tonne – a Porsche 911 Carrera S has a mere 270 by comparison.

A piece of Penske Racing history will be up for bid at Russo and Steele’s 10th-anniversary Monterey Auction, Aug. 12-14. Driven by Mark Donohue, the 1971 AMC Javelin won the 1971 SCCA Trans-Am Championship with seven victories in 10 races that year.

Gemballa has released information on the Porsche Panamera Gemballa Mistrale But there might be an answer to that quandary – turn your attention to the Porsche Panamera. Gemballa has just released preliminary details on the Gemballa Mistrale, a Porsche Panamera conversion which throws a bit of Gemballa madness at Stuttgart’s latest offering. Details are still a bit limited – and we don’t have any info yet on what Gemballa has done with the oily bits – but we do have the picture you see here, which shows the cosmetic stuff.
