The BMW X6M & X5M revealed ahead of the New York Car Show [ad#ad-1] Well, this was supposed to be a big reveal for the New York Motor show, which kicks off to the paying public on the 10th, and journos a few days before. But fuzzy scans of the new BMW X6M and BMW X5M turned up on the web a couple of days ago, so it looks like BMW has decided to get the info out as soon as possible. Nissan 'Art of Mobility' sculpture unveiled by Rigoletti Casa De Diseño Institute [w/video]

The Rigoletti Casa De Diseño Institute of Transportation Design's first full-size vehicle sculpture, sponsored by Nissan Design America, has been unveiled. For the past six months design students from Rigoletti and designers from NDA have collaborated to create the ‘Art of Mobility'. The students' goal was to capture the future of Nissan's brand character through line, form, and iconic shapes so it would be a conceptual representation of Nissan's Latin American future design philosophy.

Nissan LEAF EV sales top 50,000

Nissan has revealed that sales of the electric LEAF have now topped 50,000 units since the LEAF went on sale in 2010. We’re not fans of the electric car as a replacement for the ICE car, but some electric cars can give a fair impression (at a a price) of a traditional family car, and the Nissan LEAF probably does it better than any other electric car. The LEAF went on sale in 2010 and, although sales have not been exactly huge, Nissan has revealed that the LEAF has now passed more than 50,000 cars sold in the 17 countries it is available, with the U.S.
