Xantrex Pro Seriex XM-1000 Inverter
Good used condition - selling because I upgraded to a 2000 Pure Sine Wave Inverter - removed from my RV - less than 2 years old. Buy with confidence, great feedback and I ship FAST. Designed for RV and marine electrical systems that already have a battery charger or generator
installed, Xantrex PRO Inverters deliver modified sine wave power for small appliances, TVs, and other
onboard electronics from a battery bank. The XM 1000 model is the perfect complement
to generators when shore power is unavailable, to quietly and efficiently provide household power
when needed.
The Xantrex PRO Series design is both user friendly and versatile. These inverters feature a detachable,
digital remote control to display precise inverter, AC source and battery status information from one
convenient location. A built-in transfer switch automatically detects when generator or shore power
status changes to ensure power is always available.
Both XM 1000 and 1800 models are designed for demanding RV and marine conditions. They meet FCC
Class B regulations to eliminate interference potential with other electronics, while UL 458 certication
means they meet strict RV and marine safety standards. Versatile enough to be mounted either
horizontally or vertically, these inverters can be easily installed into any compartment. Conformal
coated boards also minimize the chance of problems from moist operating conditions.
Key features:
- 1000 Watts Continuous AC output
- 2000 Watts Peak AC output
- 12 Volt DC drain when load is 1000 Watts is 100 amps or less depending on voltage

The first teaser shot of the Citroen DS4
We already have the Citroen DS3 – the ‘Luxury’ version of the C3 – and, as we reported last year, next in line are the DS4 and DS5. And the first to come will be the Citroen DS4 and Citroen have now started the inevietable ‘Tease’ with the picture you see above. The Citroen DS4 will be mechanically based on the new C4, but will be very much its own car.

Size matters in auto company survival, Renault and Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn told an audience in Detroit on Tuesday. To cope with the escalating costs and scope of a global industry, successful automakers must complete a trifecta--be able to compete in every technology, every market and every segment, Ghosn said during a luncheon speech at the Detroit Economic Club
“No 3 million-unit carmaker can make it,” Ghosn said, explaining why his Renault-Nissan alliance forged an alliance with Germany's Daimler AG. Competency in one or two of the three skills is not enough, and only very large companies can afford all three, he said.
