(2) WESTERN AND FISHER 1000 SALT SPREADERS (SAME UNITS BUILT BY DOUGLAS INDUSTRIES) BEING SOLD AS A PAIR AND WILL BE SHIPPED ON SAME PALLET AS SHOWN IN PICTURES. THE TWO SPREADERS COMBINED WILL BE ABLE TO MAKE 1 FULLY FUNCTIONAL SPREADER WITH PARTS LEFT OVER. THE WESTERN SPREADER IS OLDER AND NEEDS THE "H" FRAME REPLACED AND A NEW SHAFT BEARING. THE FRAME THAT THE HOPPER RESTS IN IS RUSTY BUT SOLID. MOTOR WORKED FINE WHEN LAST USED. FISHER SALT SPREADER WAS ONLY USED FOR 1 PARTIAL SEASON WHEN SOME CLOWN (ME) BACKED INTO A TREE. THE HOPPER FRAME OR "H" FRAME ON THIS DID NOT GET DAMAGED AT ALL. THE HOPPER ON THE OTHER HAND CRACKED ON THE TAILGATE SIDE, AS THE MOTOR PLATE PUSHED THROUGH THE POLY. THE PLATE ITSELF ALSO GOT SLIGHTLY BENT. MOTOR ON THIS ONE IS GOOD AND FUNCTIONED FINE WHEN I QUIT USING IT. THE CONDITION OF EVERYTHING ON THIS UNIT IS EXCELLANT SHAPE AS IT WAS LESS THAN A SEASON OLD WHEN THE DAMAGE OCCURRED. MY INTENTION WAS TO USE THE WESTERN HOPPER AND MOTOR MOUNTING PLATE WITH THE BALANCE OF FISHER SPREADER PARTS TO MAKE 1 COMPLETE SPREADER AND HAVE A FEW SPARE PARTS LEFT OVER....LIDS, MOTOR, FRAME, ETC... A COMPLETE WIRE HARNESS IS ALSO INCLUDED. ADDITIONAL PARTS THAT WILL BE INCLUDED ARE: * NEW NEVER USED CONTROLLER, IN PACKAGE, FISHER PART #9390 * NEW BEARING, IN PACKAGE, WESTERN/FISHER PART #WS 68662 ALSO HAVE A NEW COMPLETE "H" FRAME FOR THE WESTERN/FISHER 1000 AND 2000 UNITS THAT I WILL BE LISTING SEPERATELY OR I CAN ADD TO THIS LISTING. The Huayra builds on the foundations of the Zonda, retaining a clear visual link to its predecessor. Pagani's trademark stylistic details are still present, such as the emphasis on carbon fiber and the quartet of exhausts.
University of Huddersfield Degree Show 2008
Fri, 05 Sep 2008Destinations, the graduate show of the Transport Design degree course at the University of Huddersfield, showed projects created by graduating students earlier this summer as part of the School of Art and Design's Graduate Show week, and also at the New Designers exhibition held in London's Business Design Centre. While a significant proportion of the course is orientated towards automotive exterior and interior design, projects also allow for a wider interpretation of transport design including boats, public transport, trucks and motorcycles as well as more conceptual approaches towards transport issues of the future. This year's graduates investigated a large range of themes and produced a variety of design solutions.
