UK drivers risk Euro fines

ONE IN FIVE drivers from the UK risks being fined when travelling in Europe due to not carrying the correct travel kit. Laws in Europe vary between countries but most demand every car has a warning triangle in case of a breakdown. In a survey by the AA, it found a third (37%) of British drivers did not know they needed to carry a high visibility jacket to comply with French law.

BMW 6 Series Coupe

Following on from the recently launched cabriolet variant, BMW has revealed the all-new, technologically advanced 2+2 seat 6 Series coupe. Now in its third generation, the 6 Series features a new interpretation of the traditional BMW coupe proportions: low and wide with a long hood and a long wheelbase. VW to build engine plant in Mexico to supply Tenn. factory, source says

Volkswagen AG plans to announce Wednesday that it will build an engine plant in Mexico to supply vehicles assembled in North America, a source at the company's assembly plant in Puebla said. A VW spokesman confirmed that the company will make an announcement but declined to say what it will concern. The new plant will supply an existing VW plant in Puebla, 75 miles southeast of Mexico City, and one being built in Chattanooga, Tenn., the source said.
